❛     𝐀𝐒  𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓  𝐎𝐅  𝐀  𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐆  𝐀𝐒  𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃  𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄   ---    ❜          always  writing  lyrics .    the  world  could  be  on  fire   &   he  could  lose  everyone  he  loved  yet  jaskier  would  still  search  for  some  way  to  make  poetry  of  it  all .    his  hands  fall  to  his  hips  as  he  stares  outside  the  kitchen  window  to  the  red  sky  hanging  in  place  of  what  would  have  been  a  partly  cloudy  midday .          ❛     i  always  preferred  metaphorically  talking  about  ‘hell’  in  my  music .   never  really  had  a  want  to  see  it  so  up  close    ...    your  thoughts ?    ❜

                »               𝐧𝐨  𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧  ,  𝐧𝐨  𝐫𝐡𝐲𝐦𝐞.  nothing  really  to  explain  the  way  that  it  felt  natural  to  have  his  uber  stop  him  at  a  building  that  he  was  very  familiar  with.  a  place  that  used  to  occupy  half  of  his  time.  maybe  ben  had  truly  reached  his  breaking  point  of  insanity  ,  that  he  was  just  losing  it  at  this  point  and  that's  what  led  him  here.  or  he  just  missed  them.  that  was  the  boring  answer  ,  he  didn't  want  to  think  about  that.  the  curious  thing  ,  so  interesting  to  him  ,  is  that  when  he  slipped  his  copied  key  into  the  lock  :  it  still  worked.  the  door  opened  and  ben  stood  there  ,  easily  seeing  them  from  where  they  sat  in  their  living  room.  '    that  is  extremely  dangerous.  you  didn't  think  to  change  your  locks  after  we  broke  up  ?  rey  ,  what  if  someone  stole  my  keys  ?  what  if  i  lost  them  or  something  ?  you  need  to  be  a  little  more  responsible  than  that.    '  all  was  said  from  their  doorway  ,  eventually  moving  in  much  like  a  robot  would  move.  awkward  and  out  of  place.  '      get  up.  we're  going  somewhere.    '

                »               𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞  𝐰𝐚𝐬  𝐚  𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞  𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞  about  them.  quinn  never  had  children,  it  really  wasn't  in  the  cards  for  him.  but  there  was  something  that  seemed  to  change  the  fate  when  he  met  rey.  they  were  wild,  sometimes  their  brain  ran  faster  than  her  mouth  and  quinn  wondered  if  they  ever  tripped  on  their  own  tongue.  but  they  also  just...  radiated  this  sort  of  happiness  that  quinn  wanted  to  help.  '    eat,  monkey.  otherwise  you're  gonna  be  all  grumpy  all  day  and  i'm  not  dealing  with  it.    '  he  set  the  sandwich  down  in  front  of  them,  sitting  across  in  his  established  chair.  all  he  had  was  a  cup  of  coffee,  already  eaten  early  in  the  morning  when  he  first  woke  up.  '    talk  to  me.  what  do  you  have  planned  for  today  ?    '
