The main fundamental flaw of Gquuuuuux discussion is that Tsurumaki and Enokido are the ones *actually* in charge of the shows creative direction, but Anno's here so actually we're gonna act like he's making the decisions.
There is something to be said about the Gnosia episode 10 and it's reframing of games events to focused more on the fact that there is a lot of gendered violence on the D.Q.O. Sure it was always intentional but it feels much more clear cut in the anime. Hey spoilers for game past here, do not open unless you've finished the game. CW for discussion about misogyny, sexual assault, and using a character as a sex slave.
So we open with Yuri as a girl in this latest loop, and learns about misogyny. Which I think some of that plot is very tired and worn out. But also we get a whole bunch of other things going on in the ship that focus on gendered violence. We first get a scene of Yuri playing around with "her" new body, and in wondering what what a girl do strike this pose.
Which is normally done by SQ, but when we meet the SQ of this loop it become immediately clear to game fans that SQ isn't SQ--its Manan.
Through Manan we see one of the primary actors of gendered violence, someone who is incapable of seeing anyone else as their own person. That possession is most notably expressed in her interactions with Renman, a person whom she literally owned as a sex slave, but rather than stop at a trite "women can hurt men too" (yes but also not useful message) the anime shows Manan in small and large ways possessing others she deems lesser.
For the dolphin Otome ("not a human") , she uses as a ride.
For her daughter SQ ("not a person"), she implicitly had to have taken control of her body this loop (and when she can't, the anime has made very clear how she treats SQ).
And most significantly, she yanks Yuri immediately after terrorizing Renman to peep on Raqio in the shower--replicating how cis people view trans people's bodies as voyeuristic curiosities. Something made more clear in the game, but handled more delicately in the anime (and better imo), is that Raqio hasn't altered their body at all to become pangender/nonbinary.
For Raqio, their body doesn't make them who they are--and they encourage Yuri to be who they are (though not after taking advantage of who she is to get information for the silver key). But to tie back into the pose mentioned before, the SQ of this episode is both the possessor and the possessed. Manan takes control of others, while SQ is simply another toy to be discarded. Yuri's pose ties her developing ideas on woman hood to Manan/SQ. You might have noticed so far this episodes involves Yuri witnessing gendered violence inflicted by Manan, a girl. But the episode wisely refocuses on the second actor of gendered violence aboard the DQO: Jonas. Following from the previous episodes Yuri takes opportunity as a girl to manipulate and gain information about both Jonas and Sha-ming. For the former, this involves diving into the question hanging over Yuri since episode 8: who is Kukurushka.
And in a surprise twist, the game opts to reveal Kukurushka and Jonas's backstory in this episode.
The quite literal doll of a woman, whom Jonas possess as a means to have his lost lover forever. As well as the body that Manan possesses at the end of the game to live forever. For Jonas, this the heart of his misogyny, incapable of moving on from his past and incapable of seeing Arya as a human being he needs to let go and instead possesses a doll to substitute the real thing. He locks her up and prohibits others from approaching her, all using his status as captain. Fittingly enough, the storage container Kukurushka lies in resembles a coffin--only a dead thing can replicate the perfect memory of Arya. Placing the Kukurushka reveal at the climax of this episodes centers the themes not as Yuri experiences misogyny, but Yuri continuing to discover the depths of depravity aboard the DQO. In this case, the possession of others through (primarily) gendered violence.
This red card is going to really expose who is just jumping on anti argie band wagon, because that is the clearest red card ever.
Common Director: Yeah this Alien Invasion story is about how cool my country is, and how we are going to beat back the foreign other.
HG Wells and Oesterheld dropping a reference book to real world colonization: Do we need to spell it out for you further?

Eidolon Diska is a story fundamentally about the limits of the TTRPG medium. Everyone is stepping on each others toes, the gm hates your guts for ruining his story, the stats make no sense, and suddenly your funny friend is homphobic because god said so.
But in that chaos, if you open the door for others, you can make wonderful things happen. It's like a herd of cats, yowling and snapping at each other, but beautiful when they all line up.
I think the ultimate problem I have with counter "class s"/"pro subtext" posting is I think it falls apart cause no one is willing (or perhaps able) to untie the goridan knot of jp lesbian works that (as far as I know) interrogate the class-s genre like 'Yuri Kuma Arashi' or 'Flip Flappers-Pure Echo'.
Star Trek being so us centric is still less embarrassing than "Firefly's future is influenced by chinese culture (forgot to add the chinese)".
