I’ve been mulling over this for a long time, especially since I just announced we are moving to three weeks, but WitherBurn no longer has an upload schedule. It will air when an episode is ready.
I know this is disappointing, but I have been burning myself out for a long time now trying to make a schedule work when it was no longer feasible. I’m in my senior year along with a lot of my VA’s, and I’ve been rushing through already limited booth time to meet a deadline that I’ve made for myself.
I’ve noticed slowly that this project is becoming more about pushing out the next episode rather than creating something good. I don’t want to fall out of love for this project, as I have a lot of faith in it, but to do that I need to prioritize what I want out of this project. Which is a good and well crafted story.
It’s not all bad news. I have a very good surprise in the works that should make production of WitherBurn easier. Hopefully it will make the production bigger and better as well.
I know for many of you this is sad, but genuinely as an artist I have never been more excited for the future of WitherBurn. She isn’t going away anytime soon.
(PS. This upcoming episode NEEDS the time. I promise it will be well worth the wait)

Hi, I just got to listen to season 2, and I wanted to ask how is the release schedule planned?, sans editing troubles which are bound to happen, cpuld you please remind me? I tough it used to be bi-weekly but don't remember.

We pivoted to an every three week schedule just because I’m in my last semester of college and the time to make it Bi-weekly isn’t working as well. We hope to return to that schedule though
This feels weird but I want to preface today’s episode by saying it was written long before the ice raids happening across America.
That’s not to say they weren’t influenced by how this country has treated people of color. Kids are in cages. They were in cages long before these ice raids. The atrocities America had previously committed were an influence in this episode.
That being said this episode is likely to hit close to home for people, so even though it’s a seemingly short part of the episode, I advise people to listen with caution this episode.

I’m glad it can help. I never expected WitherBurn to be so topical. With the Government literally kidnapping kids. Just note Tyranny is rarely permanent and hate never triumphs over community.
