ITEM OF THE DAY - 01 <3

Haven’t uploaded any art of my own in a long time, but here’s some swords I drew a while back. 1) A Flame Tongue Shortsword, I made this the shortsword you can find in the Hill Giant Steading of Against the Giants. It can also detect gems so I liked the idea of a sword made from volcanic rock that has a Xorn’s eye set into it. 2) A Frost Brand Greatsword, I designed specifically for a player who loves foxes. I wanted to do something similar to Drizzt’s sword Icingdeath having a panther, which fits him.
3) Finally, Waythe. You can find this sword in Against the Giants too. And it’s super awesome.The thing about it is that even though it’s legendary and super cool, I couldn’t find any info on its history leading me to believe it doesn’t have any(In the original AtG it’s just a regular Giant Slayer.) So I made it part of my world. Now it is Waythe, the Sword of Freedom, forged by a Dwarf King for his adopted human son who would wield it against the giants and free his fellow human, The Hakami, from slavery, eventually becoming their king in his own right. Waythe is a wonderful weapon that captivated and inspired my imagination. And just the other day my players recovered it, and Waythe is now wielded by Urungandir the Longfang, Firbolg Warrior, friend to the Hakami people and enemy of Giants
