You could write the most jaw dropping, stunning fanfiction ever to grace this earth but if it is on Wattpad I am not touching it.

I am not hating on anyone personally, use whatever app or website you want. I just hate the app/website itself. I don’t want to have to look at ads between chapters of fictional characters fucking.
I hate Wattpad
Like, the fact they nuked accounts and deleted hardworking fics because they're NSFW but published a film that's fucking NSFW (yes, that god-awful Harry Styles fic) is fucking insane. I remember a 1D fanfic writer lost all motivation to write because they nuked her fics for being NSFW. ALL OF THEM. She can't even get her fics from these bastards. Unfortunately, she can't find them or save them, so she gave up. Many other fanfic writers also went through this.
FUCK YOU, WATTPAD.
*shudders* yeah, I totally get why you're against Wattpad. Legitimate reasons, for sure. (Not to mention, teenfic.net literally steals all the stories and puts them on their own website. Not lying, it's happened to me.)
But yeah. I see where you're coming from. I've got bad experiences too on that site, so don't feel pressured<3

so that sounds really unenjoyable. Is there a way to report that your stories have been stolen?
There was a petition for the stories to be taken down, and a ton of people signed it, but I don't think it's done any good tbh.
And it directly contradicts how you mark your story (they have tags to mark it as involving copyright issues and original works and such). Mine was marked as the one that means NO ONE is allowed to use it without permission, but they still did. So . . . yeah. Fun times.
