The story of how i got into fashion designing begins two years ago back in 2018 when i started to make a cloth lone working as a freelancer more about it in the portfolio. Beginning on designing and selling different types of fusing local and Morden designing. When i was in my second year of college taking performing and visual arts.

From a subject of costume and designing i generally though i could do more than I've been taught in a different way and combined the skills i watched and practices seeing my mother working as tailor on her free time. And that's when i had to put my sketches into life by producing from sketches ,materials selection,production and development process and final advance product. I started selling my products to a total stranger and finally friends after learning and Art work marketing i literally had to apply it in my art works as a designer.

I frankly know that i have the ambition and grit to become an excellent designer. But currently I'm generally lacking the right knowledge about textiles and advanced designing skills and guidance to achieve my dreams. This is why i want to study at BRIGHTON UNIVERSITY i love the thought of being able to have a product idea and then having the tools and skills required to make it real by learning more about pattern drafting, textile,Design synthesis, color theories and many more.

Fashion designing to me is expressing feelings, ideas and applying creativity by assembling designs and fabrics on natural beauty. Fashion is probably the most important thing for today's youth , it's an art , it's a religion. It's a job, it's peek into personality and it's playfulness it is feast for the eyes.

In my third year project of 2019 i made a previously a project called 3d *Making a Handmade costume using African print scraps*. The costume was wearable inside-out and vice versa. Outside was designed with scraps and on the inside was designed with one coloured fabric accompanied with umbonium (Sea shells) as buttons ad decorated with beads.

The reason to conduct this project was by using the leftover fabrics would empower young pattern designers, it's eco-friendly through the recycling process it decreases landfill space requirements hence synthetic fiber products do not decompose and lastly promoting Culture through styles and Design.
