“’Throughout your campaign, which included a visit to Flint, you pledged to help the city and to take actions to prevent a similar crisis in any other community,’ the letter said. ‘Given these promises, and the enactment of legislation to provide funding to address Flint’s water infrastructure, we would strongly oppose any actions by your Administration that result in delaying resources to Flint.’”

I’m holding a water drive for Flint Michigan and I’m asking for water donations from any and every one who is willing to listen!! The way the residents of Flint have been treated is disgusting!! Their government allowed them to be poisoned with lead contaminated water for months and didn’t say anything. Meanwhile that same government allowed General Motors to switch to a different water source because they claimed that the water coming into their factory was rusting their car parts…..The f*ck!!??? What world do we live in where a car is more important than a persons health? If the water was able to rust the cars just imagine what it did to Flint’s residents for the months they were being lied to and told it was okay to drink. Also found out that the government buildings in Flint had FRESH bottles of water next to all the water fountains in them. So they were lying to the residents telling them the water was okay to drink but THEY WEREN’T DRINKING IT THEMSELVES!!! So far over 9,000 children have tested positive for lead poisoning, and the effects from that are irreversible.
