Hello mods! So I’ve been reading a lot of your posts and this blog has been extremely useful to me. With the announcement that the English server is getting the 6th joint exam at the end of the month I thought I should probably ask if you all have any advice on how I can break into the SSS rank? I’ve been stuck at SS rank for the past two joint exams and while I am capable of getting SS-SSS rank on almost all the types of regular exams, but I usually only barely make it into the SSS range. I know to get SSS on the joint exams you often need to exceed the 20,000k mark by a fair bit on at least a few exams.

From looking at the 6th unified exam on JP server it seems like we will probably get: Fire and Cosmic Basic, and Water, Flora, Omni Defense.

For my usual exam scores for these types, I’ve gotten: S (16000) for Cosmic Basic, SS (19500 range) for Fire Basic and Flora Defense, and SSS (20100 range) for Water and Omni Defense. 

I average 5/5/5(if applicable) for spells across all my SSRs, everyone is duo capable, and most buddies are at least level 5 as well. 

Dorm Azul, Dorm Riddle, Dorm Leona, Halloween Jade, and Beans Floyd have both their M1 and M2 maxed, Camp Ruggie and Club Cater have their M1s maxed, and Dorm Vil has his M2 maxed.

For Buddy Levels, these cards are all either fully maxed on buddy levels or they at least have their main power boost (attack/balanced) or HP boost (defense/balanced) maxed. All others card buddies can be assumed closer to level 5.

Dorm: Azul, Riddle, Leona, Vil, Trey, Idia, Ortho, Rook, Jack, and Jade.

Event: Halloween Jade, Halloween Silver, Camp Ruggie, Club Cater, Silk Jamil, Union Azul, and Boa Epel.

I unfortunately have not put in a lot of work on SR cards so beyond Robes Malleus, Lab Azul, and Silk Cater all being maxed to level 80, none of the others are currently well built.

I know this is a lot to ask for and I totally understand if you don’t have time to help with all these teams, just thought I’d give it a shot to ask about! Thank you all so much again for your amazing blog!!

(P.S. Azul is my absolute favorite and Dorm Azul is my all star card and it makes me extremely happy when he is on one of my teams, if at all possible, but I’ll take team recs for higher scores very seriously even if he isn’t on them.)

Hello! First of all, same here, Dorm Azul is my ultimate card and I absolutely love using him in all my teams!! You’re very based for it actually. 

For 6th unified exams, the exams are actually: Fire, Water, and Cosmic Basic, and Flora and Omni Defense. So it’s just your Water team that needs more adjustment. Since Cosmic Basic is harder to score high than all the other tests, I highly suggest working on your defense tests (which you have excellent cards for). Those will really raise your score.

Hey friends & anemones, I’m looking for help touching up my teams for all of the exams for the 6th Unified NRC. I’ve been able to get to SS overall by doing Hard on each, but I’d like to go for SSS! I have a lot of SSRs and most SRs but I’m missing some of the key meta ones. I have a set of SSR perfumes, lots of honey and thaumarks, and some spell books (not a ton but I’m not afraid to grind those).

You want Ortho to use his M1 for his DMG buff before using his Duo as the finisher. GM Ace is very strong and requires less RNG to set up for his duo.

It’s one weak hit because of Robes Vil but having two Dorm Leonas to do the dmg is worth it.

If you want more fire you can use Lab Kalim instead of Dorm Cater to give HW Silver his HP buddy. Lab Kalim doesn’t need high spell levels but you would want his level to be as high as possible for his HP.

This is the other popular Cosmic Basic team when you don’t have Dorm Pome + Leona.

There’s no curse in Omni Defense so you can use your best healer as another option.

Your supports should be at least lv100 with 10/10 spells if you can’t find ones that are lv110 10/10.

The only thing now is whether it's worth swapping R Vil for his camp/NY SR card and leveling those up instead for higher damage (though R PE Vil does pretty decently imo) Thoughts?

Congrats on your S! If you want to swap out PE Vil, NY Vil would be better than Camp Vil for both stats and spells. You would be able to squeeze out a bit more damage if you pair his M1 ally pow boost to Leona M1. Ideally Dorm Vil will be better if he spooks your pulls because it an extra duo you can add onto the team.

PE Vil is still great to have around if you need to tune your team's damage so you don't end the exam too early because at maxed levels and spells, your team is full of heavy hitting SSRs.

Oooooh, I use Dorm Leona, Dorm Vil, Halloween Jade, Dorm Azul, and Union Riddle in my current Water Basic test, and I've hit 21k with it. Vil, Jade, and Riddle are Lv.80, Leona is 85, and Azul is 110 hahaha

I've used Birthday Riddle as well before, and I've gotten 20k with that team. Both Riddle cards have their ATK/POW buddies in team: Birthday Riddle and Jade, and Union Riddle and Azul.

But if you ask me, I'd highly recommend Union Riddle over Birthday. He has mutual duo with Azul, which makes it a lot easier to insert 5 duos within 3-4 turns. You can use both Azul and Riddle duos in one turn, versus having to dedicate two turns for Azul's duo and Riddle's duo respectively if you use Birthday Riddle. Union Riddle also has a stronger duo than Birthday Riddle and can be boosted by his M1 should you kill within 4 turns. I also find that you have more control with Union Riddle since Birthday Riddle requires using Leona's M1, which is really powerful to the point that you might kill too early before you use Leona's duo.

could I please have some help/team suggestions for water basic test? currently i only get B’s on normal mode with my current team being Dorm Vil, Union Bday Azul, Ceremonial Epel & Kalim, and Chef Jamil,,, also i have basically every R card except maybe some of the limited ones and my most maxed up card is Dorm Deuce but idk if hed be good cuz he doesnt have a leaf element 🙏 ty in advance

You need DUOs and ATK cards, I’d suggest using Union Azul as your finisher DUO as he’s the strongest card you have.

3 DUO team, idk the spell/buddy levels, but you could go for a 3 turns kill with no weak elements, or a 4 turns kill with 1 Fire on Normal mode:

Union Azul - Finisher DUO with Ace

Dorm Deuce - DUO with Ace

FG Ace - ATK SR with good elements

Dorm Floyd - Flora M2

Tsum Leona - DUO with Floyd’s M2

Some other good cards to use if Floyd + Leona (both Fire/Flora) can’t deal enough DMG for a good overkill:

Robe Malleus with Robe/Tsum Leona - Malleus has POW buddy with Leona

Robe Kalim with Chef Jamil - Kalim has POW buddy with Jamil and Jamil has POW buddy with Azul + he’s Deuce’s POW buddy

Robe Jack with Chef Jamil - Jack has POW buddy with Ace and Jamil has POW buddy with Azul + he’s Deuce’s POW buddy

Lab Rook with Chef Jamil - Rook has POW buddy with Jamil and Jamil has POW buddy with Azul + he’s Deuce’s POW buddy

Next time, please show all your cards instead of filtering by element. That way we can better suggest teams with what you have available, after all, a strong neutral DUO is still better than no DUO.

I wanted to request I need help for the upcoming NRC exam! Which is the 8th. In the last three exams I've reached an SS, the 5th being the highest with 96,294 and the 6th being the lowest with 91,935. I don't know if it's possible but I'm aiming for finally an SSS score T-T

These are the teams that I've used in the past and my current scores, as well as info about my cards:

Fire Basic: 18,955

Dorm Azul 95, 10/10. Robes Riddle 80, 5/5. Apple Epel, 10/10. Mask Idia 84, 7/10. Groom Ace, 9/10.

I've tried changing Robes Riddle for Dorm riddle, changing Dorm Azul/Groom Ace for a stronger one (all maxed 110) I tried using Halloween silver for his 3rd spell ;;

Dorm Jack 88, 10/10. Dorm Leona 85, 10/10. Camp Ruggie 80, 5/8. Halloween Jade 80, 5/7. Dorm Azul 95, 10/10.

Other combinations that I've used, instead of Jade and Azul, I'd use Groom Idia and Lilia. I also tried using Leona's friend and adding beans Vil to my team.

Flora Defense: 20,339

Maxed Halloween Silver. Jade beans 80, 8/5. Dorm Idia 84, 10/10. Lab Kalim 80, 5/5. Robes Ortho 80, 7/5.

In the past I changed Idia and Ortho for Beans Vil and Floyd (maxed) the final score was 19,772

Void Defense: 18,288

Dorm Idia 80, 10/10. Dorm Azul 90, 10/10. Beans Jade 80, 7/5. Apple Epel 85, 10/10. Dorm Trey 107, 10/10.

One of the most difficult exams for me, Dorm Malleus hit hard, so I'll definitely work on it ;;

Here I would use a friend's Dorm Riddle, I also used Dorm Floyd 100

All the cards have their buddy levels maxed, except for Grimm and SSRs that have 1/1 spells, those only have their Duo magic buddy leveled up. As for SR, Halloween Lilia, Robes Riddle, Jamil and Kalim only have their HP buddy leveled up. Anyone besides them has their buddy magic maxed.

I can upgrade them if necessary, spells or level, I have the possibility to uncap 1 time and friends availability. And here's a summary of my current cards, all my SSR and my most used SR: I didn't want to work too much on them before hearing advice to not throw items.

I would try to activate Boa Epel's M1 first before using his mutual duo with Masq Idia if you need more damage for 4-2 overkill.

I would get Camp Ruggie spells to max. Camp Ruggie does more damage when you stack his spells instead of activating his duo. Club Ace works to give Camp Ruggie his power buddy. If you can end on T3-2, you could get a higher score than adding in more duos.

This team should get you around 25k easily. I would also raise Beans Jade to Lvl 90 for the extra HP and heal. You could also use Masq Malleus instead of Dorm Idia.
