More Watcher Cub but featuring his very displeased Boyfriend Grian. Grian was not pleased to find out the very beings he hates stole what is his.

“This is your fault.”

Cub rolled his eyes– eyes? So many eyes, how did Grian deal with this all the time– and turned to face Grian. Not that he really had to. He could see Grian, could see through him, could see him from all angles and man did that get annoying real fast. “A scientist’s work is never finished, Grian. You know this.” 

The kaleidoscope of Grians crossed their arms, glaring at Cub. Oh, but he did look dashing in that shade of blue-gray, soulless eyes staring into two of Cub’s own. “Surely you can’t be liking this. You don’t even know how to focus!”

“A minor inconvenience,” Cub dismissed, trying to settle on at least two eyes to see out of. They didn’t even have to be a part of the same pair, was he really asking for so much? “I’m sure it’ll calm down soon enough.”

“Soon enough? Soon enough? I don’t want to be stuck as a weird little vex thing forever!” Grian threw his arms up into the air, sending Cub’s vision spinning. Up, up, up into the ceiling, the sky, gazing down from above while he still was looking at Grian from the side, the front, below. “You need to fix this, now.” 

Cub raised an eyebrow. It was strange, seeing himself do that. “My, my. You’re demanding today.”

“Well, forgive me for wanting my body back!” Grian paused. “Well, not my body. What did you take? My soul? No, that belongs to Mumbo, and maybe Scar. So… my magic?”

Cub shrugged. “Kinda, man. Kinda. It’s tough to explain.”

Grian groaned, slumping back into his chair and burying his face in his hands. “Oh, this is a nightmare. I’m dreaming– ow! And I just poked myself with these stupid claws!” He was back to glaring at Cub. Cub was glaring at himself? No, just looking out of Grian’s eyes. “Cub…”

“Yeah, yeah. I’m workin’ on it, man. Calm down.” On the bright side, it was very hard to lose things now that he could see everything. Cub grabbed his pen and began to write.

Little analysis I did of one of the songs I threw into my watcher!Cub playlist to describe Cub since becoming a Watcher.

If you can figure out the storyline I will be amazed and feel happy that someone understands.

I feel it's time I add something about Xisuma before questions roll in and then there needs to be more added for my Watcher Cub Au so here are a few things

Xisuma and Evil Xisuma both are voidwalkers and part of voidwalker society is Worshipping the Watchers. At a certain age each young voidwalker who reaches that age will select a Watcher to devote themselves to whom of which they will dedicate their life to worshipping.

Xisuma is aware of the Hermits and some of their bad relations with the Watchers and knows from outside of the voidwalkers society Watchers are being to be weary of but still keeps up with swearing by his Watchers name and praying to his Watcher when in private.

Xisuma when he reached the age to decide what Watcher to dedicate himself to decided to worship Three otherwise known as Xelqua. This is due to the fact that Xelqua had not deflected and broken away from the Watchers when Xisuma had decided on who he was worshipping. To this day he still does not know it is Grian that he decided to dedicate himself to.

When the news of Cub being turned into a Watcher against his will was told to the entirety of Hermitcraft, Xisuma was beyond livid about hearing that. That night he went and prayed to Xelqua asking for protection of Cub and for answers as to what happened, he still doesn't know his Patron Watcher was already set on protecting Cub like it was his sole job in the universe.

Cub's wings never really go back and he never really gets to go back to his Vex self. His bond with Scar is more of a pseudo bond now with a mix of watcher magic on Cub's end and vex magic on Scar's end. It acts similar to their previous vex bond but Cub never can fully be a Vex again, the watcher magic and features overtook the vex in him and it kills him every day. Cub and Grian are very much so trying to get Cub's wings to look like Vex wings again because Cub very much so misses his Vex wings and Scar also wants the vex wings back so there is more a semblance of normalcy for Convex again and Grian misses his pretty vex that now has feathery wings like his instead of his normal leathery skin like wings made of magic.
