Never Not Knitting
Knitters look ahead. I'm looking forward to autumn and wearing my new scrappy watch cap. It's so comfortable that after taking these photos, it took a while before I realized I was still wearing the hat.

Never Not Knitting
The watch cap continues. Whatever else is happening, I must knit. ✅ Check the fit. It does. ✅ Observe the brim. Not bad. ✅ Onward and upward. Literally.
No matter how many of a thing I knit, I check size and fit obsessively. 3.5 inches (9 cm) for the turned up brim and fold. 2 more inches (5 cm) that the brim will hide. Ready to knit another 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) for a total of 8 inches (20.5 cm) before crown decreases.
Never Not Knitting
Almost never not knitting. I cast on a watch cap in yarn I used to helically knit scrappy pirate socks and a sock ornament (last photo). I don’t like it in k3 p2 ribbing as much as stockinette. The wrong side, which shows when the brim is folded up, does look more appealing. 🤔 I kept taking photos to convince myself to keep going. 😜
