L   :   LOVE.   who does your muse love?

She loves a lot of people honestly. She loves Yang, Tai, Summer, Ren, Jaune, Blake, Nora, all of her friends honestly. But when it comes to romantic love? Weiss Schnee is the one who holds her heart. She’s felt the twinges of love start of take hold when Weiss saved her from the death stalker during initiation. It took a while for her to realize her feelings, which was around the time of the dance. She was terrified that if she confessed, Weiss would no longer want to be friends and it would tear the team apart. Ruby was just happy helping Weiss smile and be happy. 

During the Vytal festival, they went on many outings together which she was confused as to whether they were dates or not. Between what she perceived as mixed signals, Ruby never made a move until the night Beacon fell. Before heading up the tower after Pyrrha, Ruby kissed her. And that was the last they had seen one another before meeting again at Haven academy. It took some time for them to discuss what had happened, but when they did they found they felt the same towards one another. Ruby and Weiss began to date, keeping things to themselves for some time. It’s probably around the time they get to Argus that they tell everyone.

Ruby is a simple girl. While she doesn’t mind extravagant nights on the town, parading about with their love showing to all, Ruby is more the type of person to enjoys quieter nights. A corner table at a quiet restaurant with soft lighting, and then perhaps a walk around the park in the moonlight with the stars shining. She also likes to catch street performances with her date. Especially violin ones. Catch Ruby gently dancing with Weiss as she requests a soft song from the performer.

Ruby remained standing in the air ship as everyone sat, tapping her foot anxiously. She had a lot of nervous energy after the day they had been through, and pacing around the ship would just annoy everyone. She let out a shaky breath as the sun began to set, perking up slightly as she heard footsteps behind her. Before Ruby could turn around, she caught Weiss’ hands in her peripheral vision as well as something she was holding. 

Staying still, silver eyes gazes down at the necklace that now laid just over her cloak. The diamonds and garnets sparkled in the rays of setting sunlight that came in through the main window. Her heart skipped a beat, Weiss’ words all she could hear. Which proved nice as Yang was doing a very childish “ooooooh” from beside Blake. Leaning into the kiss to her lips, Ruby turned to properly face her girlfriend, tears singing the corners of her eyes.

The situation was dire with the leviathan approaching the city. But even then, they all needed a moment. Everyone was tired and hurt, with aura depleted completely for most of them. Qrow had set Ruby down on the ground, in which she promptly sprawled out. Her body ached, utterly exhausted from her little stunt, but it worked. In getting Cordovin to stop attaching them. Now they were screwed because the best thing against the giant grimm was inoperable. Perhas her stunt wasn’t the best idea.

Chill fingers brought her back from her dark corners of her mind, silver eyes opening to be met her her girlfriends gaze. Her hair moved out of her face, a tired smile rising as she nestled her cheek against Weiss’ palm.
