As soon as their feet hit the sand, Shauna took off running toward the ocean. “Come on!” she called out to the others without bothering to look back and see who was with her. Alex was carrying two beach chairs and an umbrella, not to mention the cooler that she dragged behind her. She laughed as Shauna took off, dropping her beach towel, kicking off her flip flops and pulling her over shirt off. “Someone’s eager to get in the water.” Alex joked as she took her sunglasses off. She looked over to Riley. “Is she always this way at the beach?” She asked, knowing that the two of them had been friends since they were kids.

The music pulsed through the club, the base reverberating through everyone’s bones as the night went on. Zach knew that his sister had slipped something while he wasn’t watching, and was now waiting for her to come down before he could take her home. He himself was a little bit drunk, and knew that he would have trouble managing Ryan on his own, so he called for backup. When they got to the club, they found him first. “Hey, thanks for coming.” Zach shouted over the mucis. “She’s still dancing.” he said, gesturing over to Ryan who was lost in the sounds around her. @warxpaiint

Quinn laughed and took a sip of her beer. “Welcome to the club.” She said with a hint of sarcasm. “The, are parents are rich, and make us come to their parties club.” She gestured to the man next to her. “And yes, this is the guy you’ve been seeing on the Booker Industries billboards.” Kane scrunched his nose at the thought of the new billboards. He was being prepped to take over his father’s multi billion dollar company and the tabloids seemed to be able to talking about nother else. Quinn spoke again. “Kane Booker, meet my friend.” She gestured to the other, then frowned. “What was your name again?” @warxpaiint

The local animal shelter was holding an adopt a puppy day and both Parker and Cassie had decided to volunteer. Parker had been working at the shelter as they did some construction. Cassie just lived near the place and loved puppies. “This little guy is totally going to find a home today.” Parker said, holding a fluffy little white thing close to himself. He was talking to another one of the volunteers. Cassie walked over to the two of them, a puppy in her own arms. “So, how did you two hear about this event?” She asked, hoping to make some new friends outside of the diner that both her and her sister worked at. @warxpaiint

Bennett played her music with abandon, her eyes closed as she felt the rhythm flow through her. A smile spread across her lips as she moved to the beat. She followed along happily with the rest of her band. The group of them had started an impromptu jam session in one of the common rooms of the maine school building. They weren’t play for anyone specific, they weren’t playing for money, just purely for the love of the sound. It didn’t take along for a crowed to form. Bennett’s band was pretty well known on campus, and in the local area since they often played open mic nights at near by bars and coffee shops. @warxpaiint

Meredith pouted at her friend for a moment. “Oh come on, you’re not that hopeless.” She said with a teasing smile. “You just need to get back out there.” Her eyes started to scan the room. “What’s that saying about break ups?” She asked, her lips starting to curl as she spotted someone she knew. “The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else?” She looked back to her friend. “What about that guy over there. I bet you could get his number.”

Nathan hadn’t noticed that his friend from college was in the bar. His focus was on the other guys he was there with. One of them was telling a story that made his laugh and look away. He was completely unaware that he was being watched. @warxpaiint

“Oh my god, no, can we not rehas that night please.” Meredith said with a chuckle. The three of them had been telling stories from their college days all night and Meredith had more than hre fair share of horrifyingly embarrassing stories. She hadn’t always been sober after all. Justin have a few, but he was usually able to spin his stories to make them less embarrassing for him. “Okay, fine.” Justin said before turning to the other. “It’s your turn then. Dumbest thing you did while drunk?”
