Keep him safe

            IT'S BEEN a long night for them both. he's the second beat up hero she's tended to. the other had left not even a full hour before he'd arrived. she'd just started to doze off when he'd come knocking, looking for her help and she'd rubbed the sleep from her eyes, slapped on a pair of gloves and went to work. now that the crisis is averted she's laying down on her couch again, blankets tucked around herself tightly to keep out the chill. her eyes are closed when his lips brush across her forehead. she doesn't open them, only calls after him when she hears the door open.  ❛   stay safe out there, frank.     ❜ 

          ❛    i must ask you for assistance and i do hope you will oblige me.    ❜ she lands in front of this ghost of a man, soft as the breeze that carried her here. many might be fearful of him. he cuts an imposing figure among the shadows. storm does not fear him though, on this night she has sought him out. it has been no easy feat but rarely does ororo involve herself in simple ventures. ❛    i am storm            and i am looking for a man. i think you are looking for him as well.    ❜

               ❛   frank castle lives!   ❜ DRAMATIC DECLARATION as he steps into her apartment. she hasn't seen or heard from him in almost two months. however, by frank standards, this visit is exceptional. he might even deem his drop-in's '  often  '. she punches (  love taps, really  ) his shoulder on her way into her kitchen. ❛   are you bleeding profusely underneath that coat of yours or can you drink a beer with me before i gotta break out the first-aid kit?    ❜
