Its been a while since the Warrior!Penelope AU. But I've got a head-canon about Swap!Polites. If he's Circe (or Aeolus, idk, I guess Circe cause in my own swap, I'd imagine him as Circe), and if he turns people into winions/lotus eaters. He's using the same tactics as Circe, luring people into his palace before casting a spell on the food, I just love the idea of 'kind, understanding, viewing the world with open arms' Polites as Circe. And also I'd headcanon he enjoys making lotus fruit pancakes (cough, canon Polites death reference, cough.) Also I'd imagine that when Swap!Polites meets Swap!Penelope. He's like: Polites "I didn't hurt your crew! I just brought them peace!" Penelope: "You literally turned my crew into lotus eaters, or winions, I don't know what they're called, but that's not bringing anyone peace." Polites: "Well then." (tight smile and eye twitch)
