Wonderful. Star and co-writer Peter Ustinov has always been a lovable performer in my view, and his unlikely pairing with a young Maggie Smith works surprisingly well. The story is clever, but not too. Karl Malden is very funny (!) as Ustinov's superior at an American megacorp in London; Bob Newhart is also amusing as Malden's uptight lickspittle. Outstanding jokes and character moments; the whole movie has an unpredictable looseness to it. Quietly, oddly magical.
