y’know i’m really hoping DE will get to touch on the arbiters of hexis at some point -- i mean, of course, it’s sort of given since pretty much all the other syndicates have been brushed up on in some way or even star in their own quest (and also not to be biased... as i mainly side with them, the meridian, and suda)
it’s just... their whole philosophy is centered about us, the tenno, at the peak of the orokin era. sure their practices can definitely borderline ambiguity since they are insanely dogmatic to pursue their goal to the point of breaking far beyond our limits (i.e. the idolatry cultism of the red veil; who also happen to be their mortal enemies)
but... everything that we’ve experienced up until the sacrifice? the operators are growing up, rediscovering their past and truly learning how harsh of an impact they have on the origin system
for as long as we’ve known, the tenno have been kept in check, either by orokin command or margulis’/lotus’ intervention. and now that they are paving their own path for themselves, much like teshin’s teachings from the war within, maybe the arbiters can offer the structured foothold they need to finally reach self actualization -- to mature from being lost children and become more than finely tuned weapons of war

god kinda unrelated/personal impressions but?? i had such a strong and heartwarming vibe of borderlands 2 during the fortuna reveal... its such a raw but harmonious blend of bleak frontier and vaporwave-cyberpunk and i love it
