                        Well  ,  obviously  it  wasn't  that  great  of  a  hiding  place  if  she  was  found  so  easily  .  What  does  one  gotta  do  to  get  some  privacy  !  The  whole  reason  for  sneaking  off  was  to  be  alone  .  Sure  ,  being  with  people  was  nice  &  all  ,  yet  sometimes  the  suffocation  that  came  with  having  to  be  talkative  ,  having  to  have  a  rebuttal  or  just  being  the  presence  of  others  became  overwhelming  .  As  much  as  Toph  detested  being  alone  in  her  youth  ,  she  did  eventually  find  a  comfort  and  solace  within  it  .  Peace  was  something  that  can  be  achieved  through  various  means  .  Holding  &  maintaining  peace  however  ,  was  a  feat  all  on  its  own  .  Consider  this  hiding  spot  a  recharge  station  .

                        A  station  that  had  been  found  out  .  She  shorted  ,  like  a  pig  wound  at  the  comment  .  Frustration  was  difficult  to  hide  this  late  considering  that  she  was  caught  off  guard  .  But  how  one  may  ask  ?  Simple  .  By  ignoring  the  footsteps  in  the  hope  a  hole  in  the  ground  at  the  base  of  a  tree  would  be  overlooked  .  Hell  ,  most  things  have  already  overlooked  it  !  Yet  she  had  to  be  the  odd  man  out  &  question  the  gap  in  the  earth  .  Trouble  some  .  ❝  &   yet  somehow  ,  ineffective  .  ❞  Toph's  annoyance  was  noticeable  yet  not  all  consuming  .  However  ,  she  did  hope  that  there  was  a  damn  good  explanation  for  coming  this  far  out  -  -  -  as  if  she  was  entitled  to  such  a  thing  .  ❝  Coming  to  bother  me  ,  someone  better  be  dead  !  Or  damn  near  close  !  ❞

❝ suki ! ❞ the boy's head whips around , joy drips off his words , warmth radiates off his being. let it never be said that anyone feels unloved or unappreciated in aang's presence —-- especially his friends ! ❝ it's been too long ! how are you ? ❞ little room is left to actually answer the question ; arms open for a hug as soon as he's close enough.

        “  i would have  LOVED  to move such an esteemed guest to a vip suite,  really  i would,  but unfortunately your friends haven’t put the request in yet.  ”     -----  sweet,  oh so gently she speaks and her voice drips a honey that would ensnare flies and devils alike;  words boast sympathy and the curl of her brow,  jut of her lip match in harmony as if she might feel an ounce of it.  might stay true to her word.  ripe plum girl amidst sallow wretches of this prison,  azula wants to see it  ROT.  wants to drag her fingers over time-warn ridges of spoilt eyes too weary to spare a glare.  for now it’s a mother’s mock shrill that she offers,  knowing all too well that this redwood of a woman won’t yield so easily.

        “  don’t you think it would be  nice  if they came?  you’ve transferred to so many facilities,  i’m sure you’re awfully tired of it all.  your girls have scattered,  so what  else  are you to do now?  ”
