my insect faeries 𖧧.𖥔 ݁ ˖
They are a forest species from my passion project currently known as Faerfolk.
Faerfolk smaller than many other beings of the forest, and similar in height to humans but more delicate. They have large eyes, membranous wings, and share several other attributes with insects. Some might have antennae or mandibles. Their skin appears translucent or iridescent in certain light.
In general, faerfolk or faeries are drawn towards chaos and tend to be less welcoming than other beings of the forest. They have a reputation for causing mischief and take longer to trust strangers. However, the task of earning their trust is worthwhile, because this type of forestfolk are skilled artisans and create clothes, jewelry, and other types of functional art.

The Warden character sheet
The Warden is the protector of the forest, an ancient supernatural being whose purpose is to take care of the forest and its inhabitants. They live within an overgrown temple and conceal their face with a deer skull. They’re regarded as a divine prophet by other mythical beings, and many serve to protect the forest in their honor.
The Warden towers over most people by a few feet, as their height resembles the trees around them. They have barklike skin and antlers that grow from their head like tree branches, allowing them to blend into their environment with ease. Although they appear intimidating, most small creatures of the forest find them approachable and might crawl on them, which they don’t mind.
