It’s been a few days since I wrote something in my journal. However, over the past few days its been hell. I left my former free company due some difficult circumstances. However, there is a silver lining in that path. I help formed a new free company. We are called The Machine Shop <GEARS> we help those who are in need. If something is broken. We fix it. I help design the company house. We have a small bar in the downstairs.
This is The Thirsty Serpent. You can come hang out, drink beer, dance, have a good time. If you ever want to stop by. I will be here in my new free company working away on designs and enjoying my life.

Nominations open Tuesday for municipal vote
Municipal election campaigns in Brantford and Brant County begin Tuesday with the opening of the nomination period for the Oct. 22 vote.
Under new provincial rules, the nomination period for candidates for municipal councils and public and separate school boards opens May 1 during normal office hours and runs until July 27 at 2 p.m.
Several contenders for the top jobs in the city and the county announced their intentions months ago.
In the county, there is one seat to watch in Ward 1. Coun. Willem Bouma is on the campaign trail as the Progressive Conservative candidate in Brantford-Brant in the June 7 provincial election. But that election will be over before the deadline to register as a candidate in the municipal election, giving him time to return to county politics if he does not win provincially.
The other Ward 1 councillor, John Wheat, said he has "no idea" what he will do this time, saying there is still a lot of time before must make a decision.
In Ward 2, Coun. Shirley Simons has said she will seek re-election. Marc Laferriere, a New Democratic Party candidate in two past federal elections, has said he plans to seek a council seat in Ward 2.
In Ward 3, councillors John Peirce and Murray Powell have yet to announce whether they will run again.
In Ward 4, councillors Robert Chambers and David Miller are still considering their options.
In Ward 5, Coun. Brian Coleman said he's game to run for a fifth term. Full story at: http://www.brantfordexpositor.ca/2018/04/30/nominations-open-tuesday-for-municipal-vote

Where is Ward 2, Division 19?
Here is a map of Ward 2. The division I am running in, 2-19, is up in the left hand corner.
The 19th division runs from 9th Street to Broad between Catharine and Christian, and juts up to Fitzwater between 9th and 10th.
I live on 10th Street between Catharine and Christian, so I've gotten most of my signatures (25 so far) from around this area. Yesterday I started venturing over to the western side of the division.
