Lan Wangji is, for some contrived reason, dragged to a strip club and forced to confront his own repression. Wei Wuxian is, due to Lan Wangji's inexplicably terrible luck, also in his class.
I’ve started branching out into reading AUs now that I’ve read a bunch of canon compliant fics. This is just wonderful. It seamlessly merges the cultivation world and the modern world, and weaves aspects of the original material into this world perfectly.
Episode 26/27 based. Lan Wangji stands in the rain outside Qiongqi Way and learns a lesson.

The weeks turns to months, and Wei Ying is still in Gusu.
Wei Ying is still in Gusu, and Lan Wangji finds that every time he opens the Jingshi's doors at the end of the day, he expects Wei Ying to be there smiling at him and it's a terrible, terrible thing because he couldn't, shouldn't get used to it. Because surely, Wei Ying belongs to the freedom of the open road and not in a place with four thousand rules - Even if that place has Lan Wangji in it.
Wei Wuxian learns to settle in the Cloud Recesses, and Lan Wangji learns to settle the worries in his heart.
This is incredibly sweet and domestic and if I could hug a fic I would hug this one

Wei Wuxian has certainly hoped so ardently in his two lifetimes, for so many different things, in so many different ways, that he could have summoned the demon to his front door with his bare hands. His eyes wander to Lan Zhan, settle on the back of his head, the blue-black curtain of his hair. Oh, how he has hoped.
This is a fantastic post-canon case fic which I absolutely loved losing myself in. It’s always a sign of a good fic when you’re awake until 3am on a work night because you can’t stop reading it.

Jin Zixuan is hoping that his engagement to Jiang Yanli will be cancelled after his fight with Wei Wuxian. Instead, much to his frustration, he finds himself being forced to exchange regular letters with her.
He is expecting little from this correspondence. The last thing he expects is to be dragged into a matchmaking scheme to pair Wei Wuxian up with Lan Wangji of all people.
I really like Jin Zixuan as a character and I’m always delighted by fics that give him a more prominent role in whatever shenanigans are occurring. This one is delightful and so much fun.

In which Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen acquire a baby of unknown origin, and are the very last to know what it means.
I’ve also started branching into other pairings and this is delightfully sweet
