#Pride DJs & Producers who made a mark on my life. #WalterGibbons who pioneered both the remix & 12” single & was known to DJ unlike anyone else in NYC’s #Disco heyday, #RonHardy who brought a darkness to #ChicagoHouse at the #MuzicBox & ushered #AcidHouse into the equation, the brilliant #LarryLevan of the #ParadiseGarage w/ the almighty @gracejonesofficial, #HouseMusic’s architect @fkalways of #TheWarehouse & @djjuniorvasquez who’s #SoundFactory (much like all the Discos & Gay friendly nightclubs before it) was a safe space for the #LGBTQ + community to gather & express themselves in a way that society wasn’t quite ready for & his sets, as well as everyone mentioned here, were impactful on all who were lucky enough to witness them live.
