SOLANOIR
by Ten Hundred
On August 21, 2017 âThe Great American Eclipseâ passed across the US with the peak duration and eclipse experienced in the countryâs heartland. With Kansas City lying on the boundary of its âPath of Totalityâ local artist Jason Harrington, aka @RifRafGiraffe, organized the cityâs inaugural Solanoir Mural Festival in  to coincide with the occasionârenamed @SpraySeeMo for 2018. Among the artists from near and far eager to participate in the rare event was Peter Robinson, aka Ten Hundred, a Michigan-born artist and designer living in Seattle  where he also creates clothing, toys, and figurines for his shop, Statix. Painted over 4 and a half days, using mostly spray paint but with some rolled on latex for coverage of larger areas, Ten Hundred says it was an amazing experience painting as the sun was blocked and city turned dark at 1:00 in the afternoon. @tenhun  @solanoir Â
