Trigger idea #20: "Raft"
Counting down trance ideas until Christmas and wanted to kick off with this! This one I've used before and it's been super fun when implemented. When said, the subject is buoyed up into the waking world, keeping their eyes open, and cannot drop until given the trigger to "release"/"give in"/"give up"/etc.
That's not to say they aren't affected by trancey language nor that they won't want to drop. Ideally they very much will. But they can't. Not yet. Not even when they're being told to directly, poor thing. Keep those eyes open.
But do open eyes really equate wakefulness? That's for you to decide.
This trigger is also useful if it's the end of the session and the sub keeps nodding off when they really should be up up up.
