it took me a sec to refer to what i experience as age regression because for the longest time i just saw it as One Of My Moods. there isn't a concrete way to experience it either. it varies greatly from person to person so you've got no point of reference and thus, can be hard to identify
when i do catch myself Regressing id tell you its between the ages of 8 to 14. i dont act differently than i usually do or even think all that differently than i usually do. for the most part i'm more emotionally volatile and feel a stronger attachment to things i associate with my childhood and early teenhood. there's a dull sense of longing to it, too, but it isn't depressing.
it also makes me really really want to be klonoa GAHAHA. it's funny because i didn't get into the franchise properly until 2022, but the fact i found the character himself so appealing back in 2012 is enough to have earned him a spot in my nostalgia bin. and why should nostalgia be exclusive to childhood? our adulthood can be just as good. sometimes.
i'm just rambling xd i figured why not. i don't know how many of the ~500 people following are even active still
