Beau nearly jumped, he had been so into what he was doing that he hadn’t even realized someone had been there! He stopped in his tracks and gave the customary salute.“Sir, I was lost, sir!” he paused, scratched at his right arm and blushed. “Or, I am! But..” he gestured to the rough foliage around the outside the base and smiled. “I saw the plants blooming around base..Do they know these can be used as a good supply? It doesn’t look like they are gardening it or making mass quantities.”

Basma loved making people smile, whether they wanted to or not. Humans that were theirs though, they hated if something bad them sad, and they regarded Adhere as theirs.

Something was wrong, and it had to do with eir giant beast of a dog Leo. Now Basma adored that creature, so seeing em cry into his side meant something was seriously wrong, especially considering Leo was barely breathing.

Well, that would jsut not do for the little deity.

One sleep spell on Adhere and Basma went to work immediately.

When Adhere woke up later, it would be to the giant dog, slobbering all over eir face, excited and ready to be with em for a long while.

David had almost given up on anyone finding him, or hearing him, or seeing him, and so he had taken to floating behind people, idly insulting their fashion taste and telling them how to fix it, but when someone–Ahdere?–finally said something, he stared for a long moment before waving his hands. 

David didn’teven know what had happened.

All he knewwas that he had pressed a gentle kiss against Ahdere’s cheek, gently nosingagainst eir cheek and telling em that he’d be in the shower, so be careful inthe bathroom, and he made sure that ey had agreed to be careful, that he knewDavid was in the shower and that meant no bracelets, no control, and plenty ofconductive water, and so David walked into the shower, letting himself relax.The crackle of electricity filled his ears as he washed himself, softly singingunder his breath before he felt a hand touch his shoulder.

It wasinstinct.

That’s allit was. Instinct.

He hadn’tmeant to unleash the electricity, hadn’t meant to turn just as he watched thesurprised look on Ahdere’s face, the sight of the sparks searing trees into eirskin and travelling up to where David could feel it ruining eir heart, burningit and causing it to spiral out of control.
