Most people find it extremely hard to keep control during the heat of the moment. When emotions are just bursting, releasing verbal fireworks or grenades. They are unaware of consequences, must their promises can no longer be kept.

I tend to mean what I say, when making promises. It's not only my present feelings that I take into account. I consider precedent cases, and any implications that my decisions can have in the future.

I need to work on accepting. Accepting that most people only say things as a result of unplugging a radio that was playing in full blast, the song they love or hate the most. They're human, cut them some slack.
