Thank you for supporting independent art: Announcing SIDE MACHINE RECORDS, an independent record label operated by two brothers out of Oakland and L.A. Not restricted to set genres or geographies, Side Machine Records is devoted to celebrating the authentic and outsider motors of creation, which perpetually and feverishly spin despite being curbed to the periphery by life’s tedious demands and constraints. SM’s first output will be W0RK’s Control/Capital Cyst 7” (mastered by Mikey Young of Total Control), presented on a unique picture disc via @16khz Custom Vinyl Pressing. In collaboration with @parker.richard.design , W0RK emulated every 80s toy fanatic’s favorite digital dictator, SIMON for their first vinyl release. The iconic electronic game homage lends itself perfectly to the 7” shape and size, with alternate lights glowing on each side to represent each track, and inscribed details subtly altered.
