2A V'yala!!
ten years later
For day 20, we're travelling to India. This is a Yali, which can be found sculpted into pillars in many Hindu temples. It's also known as a Vyala or Vidala in sanskrit. It's mostly depicted as a hybrid of a lion, an elephant and a horse, ofyen with a rider. #aprildrawing #drawing #pencil #sketch #mythologicalcreatures #yali #vyala #vidala #indianmythology

Do they believe in soul mates? (What kind of soul mates do they think exist? Do they have any? Do they think/know if they have any? How do they realize they have a soul mate? In what regards do they see/find a soul mate?)
Kie’fon believes in soul mates but thinks its more common to find them as friends more than romantic partners. She has never had a soulmate but at one point she thought she did. A soulmate to her is someone who shares almost the same thoughts as her, someone who she’d never be disgusted by, and someone whose energy is on the same frequency. The signs of a soulmate might be unbreakable friendship no matter what, complete trust and communication, being as silly as possible with no shame, similar thoughts and interests and so on. A soulmate is someone you can’t just go looking for. Its a connection that comes from fate.
Neya’fi would be that asshole to say soulmates are just mistaken for the instinct to mate and roll her eyes at happy couples that call each other their other half. She thinks its just a sappy thing people say when they spend too much time together and doesn’t believe theres someone just like her out there waiting. Neya believes in bonded friendship rather than a soulmate, and if there is anyone out there who she becomes connected to it’ll probably take a year or two to maybe change her mind. Right now she doesn’t even leave the jungle to look for other life outside her panthers so it’d probably be rare for her to find a friend let alone a soulmate.
V’yala does believe in soulmates and thinks of the bond as a sort of personal ritual. Both romantic and friendships could be soulmates but thinks a romantic soulmate would be even more sacred. V’yala never had a soulmate but she fantasizes of having a ritualistic dances and fireside cuddles with someone who is. If she did meet someone who might be she’d offer them a dance which would prove if they had the same type of energy and naturally flowed with eachother. Same as Kiefie she finds it impossible to go searching for this person and believes if she goes where she’d normally go someone might be drawn to that place.
Thanks for the ask!!
♡♡♡
♡ - Kie writes or draws in a journal every other day. One exercise she enjoys is painting what her energy or emotions may look like. This way she can keep track of how she’s doing in training and life in general.
♡ - Keetsi is very tolerable of goblins and finds their trinkets very interesting, in Tanaris she often visits them and is known to giggle snort at goblin comedy clubs.
♡ - V’yala finds herself calmed by the smell of bonfires and warm chai tea. A mix of both is the perfect way to end the day for her, although she doesn’t like the smell sticking to her. She’d rather have a salt water and pineapple scent.
Thanks @stonestridernerd ^^
♡x3!
♡ - Kiefie was once the ritualist for her old tribe, R.I.P. When there were new arrivals she’d be the one to ask the questions, ask their Loa to welcome them in and give the blood oath. She even had a ritualist skull she wore, now retired in her hut to flood her with memories.
♡ - Luckily her tusks are okay but V’yala has a missing tooth from banging her mouth on a coral reef during a wipeout. She now only has one upturned fang next to her tusk.
♡ - T’kavas spirit raptors energy can effect her mood. As a guard she’s calm and collected but with her raptors prideful attitude she can feel pretty maniac when she’s with him, a bonus for fights and hunts.
