Vinyl stands awkwardly as the younger spider unceremoniously gives the gift. He becomes stiff, and his head bobs between looking at Miles and the gift.

"For me???" he asks, sounding much more confused and uncertain than he should, "You .. sure you got the right person, Miles?"

Not that he - minds at all, he just - shitty night, okay? Christmas Eve was crap and it'a not every day the kid he's friends with gives him a gift. Because he has no friends besides Blizzard.

"I mean - Thank you, Miles. I-"

PJ likes to bring Miles a few things from his dimension, particularly, art supplies and tech. Often, it's the gizmos and gadgets that would be considered common, or it's a color swatch of the newest pigment.

Miles probably knows what PJ stands for, and they've probably had a good laugh about it.

PJ always carries umbrellas and raincoats for people, and often than not he's sharing them with Miles whenever they hang out in his Earth. The artificial rain seems to be perpetual sometimes.

The two exchange music tastes and listen to each others playlists.

PJ shows Miles some graffiti spots in his city, and lets him draw art for his album colors

The mutual vulnerability and lack of judgement is .. oddly nice, for both of them.

PJ likes talking to Miles because he provides more perspective on things that aren't really common to talk about in his world.

PJ specific

PJ brings Miles a lot of stuff in general.

Talking to Miles gives him a nice positive-chemical boost.

"You remind me of him. That's nice. Thanks for being here, Miles." he said one time while drunk and refuses to elaborate

but I can elaborate! Miles reminds PJ of Daryl. Huge heartache, but he's so glad to see his old friend's smile on someone else.

Miles specific

Miles likes yapping to PJ on certain topics from school, and PJ sometimes helps with work

Evidently, Vinyl was not pleased with Morales' words. It barely showed, but the sourness was there in the surface, bubbling a little before calming. The way he tenses, controlling his breathing - how he could be perceived - for a moment too long.

"I-"

The (not so gentle) bang in his head was akin to a drum beat. Something like HYPERPOP's songs or something. It's unpleasant. Any thoughts and movements immediately cut off as he recoils and hisses. So, that little façade of control and annoyance quickly cuts out.

How did they get here? Memory was vague. He can recall the overuse of something, something, before it's banged out with more pain.

"..'m fine, Morales-" he sighs, taking too long to oblige the earlier request to stay down, "Just need-"

This is what happens when he screws up his schedule with leisure activities, he bets. Or something akin to that. (He refuses to fully acknowledge the fact he has overexerted himself.)
