In 2017, my New Years theme was “live the opposite of fear.”I spent the first couple of months trying to follow this motto, but the words were not digesting. I was trying to master fear because it exposed my vulnerability. I need to be vulnerable because it allows me to be creative, innovative, and fully present in my life. I then decided to switch my theme, and for the rest of the year, “I lived all the places fear lived.” Walking with fear has taught me that it’s more important to be a perpetual student of life instead of a master. We become masters of life when we die. Walking with fear pas mal. Instead of hiding the fear within I narrate the experience right there and this has granted me lots of inner peace! #brenebrown #vunlerable #walkingwithfear (at Norway)
