Favorite serious arc of Gintama? And how do you feel about the series ending?
The Shogun Assassination arc is definitely one of my favorite serious arcs, along with the Farewell Shinsengumi arc because both are are very emotional and you know especially when I first saw them and all I had seen were only some serious arcs but it really is like 200+ something episodes of comedy and bc I had just grown to love the characters so much, both arcs really hit me hard.
I also really love the Four Devas arc and the Benizakura arc, Four Devas bc I loved loved loved Gintoki and Otose’s interaction (and that epic fight scene vs the Harsume with Jirochou) and the Benizakura arc will just always have a special place in my heart (with Gin and Zura’s fight scene and Bakuchi dancer fuck I love that song)
And how do I feel about Gintama ending? Well you could say I’m ~in denial~
But more seriously even though I have only been watching Gintama for probably about 1 - 2 years it’s something that’s brought me so much joy and getting to interact with you guys and I just genuinely love Gintama, the characters in Gintama, and this fandom.
So I’ll probably cry for like five days when it finally ends and not leave my house for a month (I already cry each time a new episode is released bc I’m a big baby and I just love this series so much) and probably eat an entire thing of ice cream in one sitting

Sorry I don’t remember what the actual rule on gender for characters is for the tourney? I remember seeing Mofurun from Precure being omitted because they identified as female but Rei/Blair’s from YGO GX is still in the prelim polls and she’s a girl even if she crossdressed that time.
My friend submitted Blair for this reason for giggles and I thought it was entertaining
