Vul is really, really fascinated by the panels on Hydra’s head and shoulders, and she often reaches out to touch them before she knows what she’s doing. She could happily spend hours playing with them - and does, when Hydra’s in the mood or just plain too sleepy to stop her…

She fought a Kaiju just off the Great Barrier Reef once. This was good for neither Kaiju nor reef. You could hear the conservationists’ howls for miles.
On the bright side, it turned out the Kaiju’s corpse was good food for all the hungry polyps, so it all worked out okay in the end. :)

If there’s one part of the human experience which Vul loves above all others, it’s music. Her pilots had a broad range of musical preferences, and they’ve passed them onto her.
You’ll often find her plugged into her recharge harness and gently swaying on the spot. It’s the closest she dares get to dancing.

Dawn
Vul has no circadian rhythms, so she doesn’t keep normal human hours. ‘Awake’ for her is also a different state - it can mean externally dormant but inwardly alert and thinking, or running on autonomics while she rests her AI and higher CPU, or fully externally awake and interacting with the world. And she can be awake for forty hours or more quite easily; it’s all a matter of how long the juice in her batteries lasts.
She often makes sure to be awake for Sydney’s dawn, however. Her bay in the Shatterdome faces east, so when the doors are opened she can look out at the sun rising across the harbour.
Vul's been deployed more times than almost any other Jaeger, counting 28 missions to her designation. Most of those were joint operations during the heyday of the Jaeger program, around 2019. [Cherno Alpha and Solar Prophet both have over 30 deployments. Then again, they've been around longer than she has.]
She's a very tactile person - her personal space is pretty much zero, and she's always reaching out and touching. People about her size, that is - she always makes sure to ask first, with the smaller people.
