Jacinta Carroll, VU Alumni, Ski Jump Master
Google Jacinta Carroll and you will find article after article from media outlets worldwide praising her talent and skill. Jacinta is the top water ski jump competitor in the world, a nautique athlete with countless world records, breaking her own record again and again.
In 2015, Carroll smashed the leading jump by 6.1 metres at the Water Ski World Championships in Mexico with a broken toe. This took her to 25 undefeated tournaments. A galliant effort considering she had pain pulling her ski boot on to begin with.
Recently Carroll took out the Moomba Masters Ski Jump competition to make it 26 wins in a row.
Jacinta Carroll is a VU Alumni and 2 times sportsperson of the year. She is a shining star in the alumni world and an excellent example of the academic and sporting excellence that VU have produced over the years.
