The word 'sire' is such a funny word. Why? Because it has two meanings.(probably more but i only know of two). At least in the real world.

The first meaning is father of an animal (usually used in the omegaverse). The second is used for nobles(eg- lords, kings, etc).

The vampire smp use Sires as the person who turns you into a vampire.(Scott being pryo's sire. Pryo being shelby's)

Now this makes it so fun to play around with the words especially in fanfication because 'Sire' can now mean- the turner, Father, My lord.

Each is equally as entertaining to read.

The Vsmp, sire seems to depend on the person who was turned and the person doing the turning.

This is because- Scott being Pryo's Sire. Pryo took it as Scott being his lord.(from what i understand as well as the turner). Their relationship was clearly unblancaced . which honestly makes sense. Scott is the oldest vamp.

Pryo is Shelby's sire. Now their relationship is more friendly than Pryo's and Scott's. It may be to the fact Pryo is younger than Shelby. (Pryo is 21 and Shelby is 25). They do have a level of respect for one another but not the unbalanced kind. Which fits their character.

(I'm saying this as i only watched Scott's and its pretty hard for me to get out of my comfort zone to watch another pov)

And i may write fanfication about this cause it is such an interesting topic but i can barely hold on the to willing of writing fanfication without abandoning it cause of issues (at first it was just mental health but alo is going on in my life rn)
