Meet: @Sleeve_Queen I’m Ellie after suffering a stroke at age 16, suffering depression & anxiety & hitting my highest weight of 345 pounds at just 23 years old after the loss of my father from an overdose, I knew it was time to make a major lifestyle change. In April of 2016, I made the decision to have vertical sleeve gastrectomy surgery. This was not just a surgery, but a complete lifestyle change for me. Following the procedure, I began exercising on a regular basis and following a ketogenic diet. The diet, which combines a low intake of carbohydrates mixed with high volumes of protein and fat, has helped me burn fat while building and maintaining muscle. Since April of 2016, I have lost over 10 pants sizes, 4 shirt sizes, over 70 inches and a total of 210 pounds, going from a size 24 to a 4. Being “Body positive” is a mental state you must learn. No matter your size, love yourself. Be good to your body, take care of you. Starting tip: 90% of this process for me was mental. Teach your mind to focus on the main goal you want to accomplish and you can and WILL do it! Set one goal at a time and strive everyday to reach your dreams. This isn’t a quick fix but a complete and total lifestyle change. #wlstories ________________ DON’T FOLLOW US UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO SHOW SUPPORT TO OTHERS!
