VRChat Picture of The Day #35: Winter Headspace

Hi there! Posting "earlier" than usual since Battle.net is down and my Diablo dungeon crawling's been put to a halt lawl

While watching some newer Mario B3133 Content where things seem less edgy but its always good to get new stuff from a hyperfixation I got into some time ago!

Anyway, I used the default VRChat camera for this shot and honestly.. Its a bit flat, I don't like it much. It makes me feel like its a screenshot rather than an actual shot. I'm no proper photographer by any means, but I think a lot of the background shouldn't be as clear as the point of focus I was aiming for.

We made it to a month!! 31 days of pictures that I love sharing with you guys! Thank you all so much for your support! Without all of you, this would just be a silly little blog just hollering into the abyss.

Over time, I can really see my photography improving even if its for a little bit! That makes me so happy. Figuring little things out as well as really understanding an environment and when to take a picture makes me think about the shots i take rather than just lazily snapping and calling it a day. I've much to learn, but still! I'm getting there!

Since I first began, I struggled to find a name for my "aesthetic" or style for photography and I think I may have nailed what it is. I adore so many of those "empty source map" screenshots and the feeling like there's joy in solitary with my photos. Abandoned or empty areas are totally my gig. I would very much like to be the pioneer of this kind of style where its just "Yume nikke exploring but with a camera" although i'm 100000% sure someone's already done it lol

Maybe if I gave it a cool name somewhere down the line..

Been long long time. Worlds gone further to shit, muscle man’s voice actor is dead, most of McDonald’s menu is 10 dollars. However, we continue on regardless. Enjoy my collection of photos I’d forgotten to upload. i might have more but we shall see. Keep yourselves safe and healthy. VRChat Picture of The Day #37(?): Sold My Soul to Yo Mama

Hello! I'm not fried atm but I got this from last night! I realized a photo doesn't need to be all fancy with all the doodads. A "good photo" can just be someone bein goofy.. Last night's adventure was well, an adventure!

Maybe I just need to relax with photography and just have a photo be normal.. I just talked to someone irl about photography and they told me that I didn't need some fancy schmancy camera for anything. You can just take an amazing photo without one. A lot of great photos come from smartphones and if they can do that with smartphones, I can do it with anything.
