           Boring,   it   was   extremely   boring   in   the   hospital, but this was the deal he made with Leorio after visiting Ging. He didn’t even have Killua to talk to, he was gone on his own and even Leorio wasn’t here, but he would be back. It was boring and he was alone, only the sounds of people passing by in the hallways, the machines in his room and the sound of the city outside is what he heard. Gon didn’t want to watch tv, so was really left alone to his thoughts until he could hear the taps on his window. It was a bird --- well bird man, and one that he knew. Joy from the sudden relief of his state of weariness, the child would eagerly run on over to the window, dragging the IV pole with him.              Smile on his face as he would quickly open on up the door to invite the other in, yet Hawks remained in the air. Staring Gon down as the child would exclaim his gratitude for showing up. Talking about how dull it was to be in this room and how he wants to leave, his arms and hands also making gestures to make his expression more vivid.  It was obvious his sight was that on the adult’s main focus was on the newly formed scar wrapped around the boy’s right tricep. An ugly mark from an ugly injury, one that would haunt Gon forever, a reminder of his choice to end it all. Gon was covered in so many, but this one held a new level of guilt. Eventually the boy would stop his his excited talk and shifted into a confused one as to why Hawks wouldn’t enter or speak before came the contact of the man’s fist against Gon’s head.

          Unprepared for the attack Gon flew back, his back slamming into the wall, some cracks seen behind from the impact. Gon was weak, and had no nen for even the slightest bit of protection. It hurt, it hurt a lot, and now he had a new wound on his face. Blood trickled down the side of his face, and he watched it drip onto the white floor. Ah, he was upset by Gon’s stupid and reckless behavior, made sense. Throwing away his life meant those who loved him would be sad and miserable, just like how Gon was with Kite.            Now started the lecture on said reckless behavior, and Gon stood up. Listening to every word Hawks had to say, he could nod before feeling the embrace. Warm, the hug was so very warm and Gon needed it, and though the punch may have hurt he needed that as well. It took some seconds to pass, but Gon would wrap his arms around Hawks, his face nuzzling into his chest as well. So very warm, in the cold hospital room.
