Oda was very creative with his chapter titles this volume.
While I think Skypiea has been vindicated somewhat by history, I can understand why people didn’t like the pacing at the time it was released. The Skypiea arc is 66 chapters, which at that point made it take up a full 20% of the series run. Now that we have mega arcs like Wano or Dressrosa that doesn’t seem too bad, but as seen by this volume there are long stretches of time where it’s just fight after fight after fight. Which admittedly can be fun, but isn’t really what One Piece excels at
