[You had almost made a full circle, which was a feat for you, considering you never really⊠left home very much.]
[Fibonacci, Cotes, Golden, and now Archimedes. The Grecian architecture of the place looms before you, and you canât help but feel⊠almost shrunk by its massive grandiosity. You know youâre small in the grand scheme of things, and youâve accepted that, but something about this place and its mighty columns has sent your thinkpan into a mode of existentialism. Itâs not a crisis, for again, youâve accepted your fragility, itâs⊠a wonder. A wonder of the world, a curiosity that you canât help but just stare at for a while.]
[But as the rumbling in your gut reminds you, physicality is more important than whatever poetic meaning your thinkpan had decided to project upon the imposing architecture.]
[A smell of community and culture and food wafting down a corridor nearby, your feet draw you towards the source, stopping once again in awe at the seemingly endless line of stalls laid out towards you. You hadnât realized until that moment how truly hungry you were, for traveling had emptied your digestion bladder down to nothing, and so you began to browse, a look of wonder crossing your tired visage.]
[Halting at a stall with aromatic notes, seemingly vegetal in focus with the roots lining the counter and the pot simmering in the back where a cook was tossing in herbs and spices like it was art, you happen to find someone of your own species. Which⊠wasnât entirely surprising. You had met other trolls here before, but this one was in a different league from the others.]
[For one, he was a highblood. Not that you have anything against highbloods, but the only troll youâve met that was higher than yourself was rather⊠small. Presumably less than 6 sweeps, if you had to guess, so he wasnât anything to worry about. This one was clearly around your age, and you felt almost intimidated, unsure of what to say to someone like him.]
[Not like you spoke very much in usual situations, so it didnât really matter, but still. You felt awkward, standing there staring at the same booth with no attempt to make conversation. So, you steeled yourself, and spoke.]
