Create what you want just because you want to make it. Striving to make things just for the sake of views and approval from other people will destory you and your creativity, especially by the people who can't take a "Maybe this work isn't for you" when they don't like it or if someone comes at you just to be a nasty individual
You should love what you make, not destest it <3
Don't let your art be something that people take from you. Let it be whatever you want it to be, cause at the end of the day, its your's and nothing can change the fact you made something with your own hands and mind and I think that's a beautiful thing whether its pottery, Stained glass, metal work, paintings, or even 3d moddeling, Animation, coding, and so much more.
These are all things that humans have figured out and done on their own for years, and imo there's an art in everything we do from the little quirks of writing to the favoritism of a specific type of detail in an engineers work, anybody can pick up a skill and add themselves to the greater picture even if just momentarily and that's amazing
