Ummm well I'm probably not going to be as good at describing this as Ozzie was but let me try... So different universes exists sort of floating around like solar systems in space, some are relatively close and can align or even overlap with each otherat times, but almost all of them have connection points to at least one other universe, this is how we get things like the Mandela effect! The way The Inconvenience works is it travels from connection point to connection point like a train on tracks. It can't lay its own tracks, so if your pocket dimension was created intentionally there's a chance it may have been designed to have no connection points, so the inconvenience wouldn't be able to stop there without a connection to another universe being made first!

That or The Inconvenience just doesn't want to go there. She can be a little finicky at times...
