Void Shiki:

She’s the classic ‘strong and silent’ type killer. She hunts people on a whim, deciding after walking through town who she wants to hunt. She’s the more dangerous of the two because her pattern is hard to follow. It’s something about the souls, Skiki would say is you asked and she wanted to respond. That’s never going to happen of course, so it’s just a mystery the police never solve.

Her favorite part is the chase, especially with you. She doesn’t want to kill you but watching you run and stumble is just so cute. The way you slow down, thinking you’ve lost her and then breaking into a sprint as she slowly turns a corner. It’s adorable, the way your eyes go wide and you start to try. You always think you’ve gotten away and that’s the best part; the game never ends.

Shiki will eventually want to be with you and takes matters into her own hands. Very rarely does she interact with society so all forms of social norms are lost to her. In her eyes the two of you are together and that means sharing everything. The bathroom, showering, beds; what she has is yours and she expects you to be willing to share with her too. If not, she has no issues making you.

Anyone trying to take you is going to meet a gruesome end. She has no patience for fools and people trying to take you are the most foolish of all. Shiki prefers using her knife but for people like this she makes an exception. Nothing is more satisfying than watching the life leave someone’s eyes as they struggle. It makes her feel unstoppable, like you’ll never leave her.                                                                                      

Shiki Ryougi:

This Shiki is more reserved than her Void counterpart but not by much. She’s more of a ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ type of killer; perfectly normal by day and murderer by night. She has a regular job and does her best to maintain a façade of not caring about the world around her. In reality she’s always looking for her next mark, her next kill and that’s what makes the faking worth it. It’s how she finds you which is even sweeter.

Shiki wants to keep you to herself as quickly as possible, rushing through the stalking phase into kidnapping. She knows early on that you’re the one for her and won’t let anything stop her. She’ll learn everything about you; your favorite store, food, way you spend your weekends. It’s not hard, finding you alone for a moment. Your body loses unconsciousness so easily, you must want to come with her.

She’s not against using others to threaten you, especially if you’re close to them. Shiki has no problems showing you tied up loved ones to get you to snuggle with her and stay close. The irony here is that she doesn’t want a domestic life, not really. She wants some twisted version of something only she can see. It leads to huge explosions of emotion, the calm woman becoming someone almost unhuman. These are the scariest moments, when you have no idea where her energy will go.
