#void sent

Hi again! I have been hard at work on Void Sent finishing chapter 29 last week and growing the manuscript to 80K work and over 250 pages. I am estimating the book in its entirety to come out to around 95-105K words and about 300 pages give or take. The closer I get to the final chapters the more unreal it feels. I am painfully aware of certain issues when it comes to certain plot devices earlier in the story and have already been coming up with fixes for them. This pushes the progress bar to 74% and just ever so slightly closer to the end. I still plan on trying to go through the traditional publishing route although that is still pretty far down the timeline. I have thought of alternative ways of sharing my work once I am finished with it (mostly just the thought of posting it on its own dedicated page here or somewhere else.) If you have any ideas or suggestions or just want to say hi then feel free to contact me!

Hey everybody, I just finished chapter 28! That means we’re are in the final stages of the planned story. You may notice that as I say that the progress bar has barely moved a percent, that is because I made a mistake with my math. My B. Going forward I expect to speed through this final portion of the book. I have saved what I think is the best for last and am really excited to get into some of these upcoming scenes. I am planning to take a month or two away from the book once I finish it so I can distance myself before starting the editing and revision process but I will update you all about that once we get there. Hi all! My name is Elowyn (She/Her/Hers) and I am an aspiring author currently working on my grimdark fantasy novel, "Void Sent". I am about 3/4 of the way through the book, and it feels like time has just flown by since the original idea came to me in December of 2024.

I hope to make consistent(ish) updates about my progress including the writing process, editing, revisions, ect and anything else I feel would be fun or interesting to share.

I also have a link to my website where I have the updates and timeline for "Void Sent". I also have book reviews up there. They originally started as something I would write up for a shared discord server with my friends. This was since I read much more and faster than my friends do, it served as a way to rant to them in an easy deliverable format that might somehow convince them to read more. My latest one ended up being too long to post on discord so I finally got around to getting a website dedicated to them as well as Void Sent. It was an idea I was already playing with, and I find it cool to have my own corner of the Internet.
