what do you think, is it better to speak or to die?
for me? it’s better to speak. always.
not because people will listen—they often won’t. not because it guarantees resolution—it rarely does.
but because silence is a slow rot. silence makes a home in your ribs and starts chewing through the walls from the inside.
silence turns “maybe” into “what if” and “what if” into a lifetime of phantom conversations you’ll replay until you’re dust. when you speak, even into the void, you give the thought somewhere to go. you take it out of your bloodstream and place it in the air. that matters.
being heard is beautiful. being understood is even better. but sometimes the first mercy is just saying it out loud so it stops echoing only in your own head.
so yes. speak. even if the only person who hears it at first is you.
