Is voice lowering surgery a thing? Or to word it better, a /safe/ thing? Have any trans people ever had it? I've been on T for more than a year and my voice already stopped changing but it's still so high pitched
it’s definitely a thing for trans folks (a safe one with more than 30 years of evidence behind it), but it’s reserved for cases where voice training and HRT doesn’t “work”. Mod mayhem
are there any trans guys / transmascs that have had vocal surgery (especially singers) and could talk about their experience? i know this is a long shot but i am considering vocal surgery and i cannot find very much about masculinizing vocal surgery other than “it makes your voice deeper”.
