𝙰𝙵𝚃𝙴𝚁  𝚂𝙻𝙾𝚆𝙻𝚈  𝙰𝙲𝙲𝙴𝙿𝚃𝙸𝙽𝙶  𝙷𝙴𝚁  𝙼𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁  𝙰𝙽𝙳  𝚂𝙸𝚂𝚃𝙴𝚁  back  into  her  life  and  having  everything  turned  upside  down  again,   maeve  had  felt   loneliness  come  over  her  worse  than  ever  before.   being  around  webby  is  bittersweet.  it's  beneficial  and  cruel  all  at  once.  she  eases  the  weight  of  her  isolation  all  the  while  reminding  her  of  elsie  and  the  possibility  of  never  seeing  her  again.  torturous  as  it  may  be  for  her,  it  only  makes  her  fondness  for  webby  grow.  “  you’re  not  such  bad  company  yourself,  pipsqueak.  ”  she  leans  over  to  give  her  a  gentle  nudge.  “  you  keep  things  interesting.  ”

𝙷𝙰𝚁𝚁𝚈  𝙶𝚁𝙾𝙰𝙽𝚂  𝙰𝚃  𝚃𝙷𝙴  𝚁𝙴𝚀𝚄𝙴𝚂𝚃,  head  lulling  back  against  the  sofa  as  he  begrudgingly  agrees.   “  fine.  but  you  only  get  one.  ”   she  was  exhausting  to  keep  up  with.  an  overbearing  light  of  positivity,  sort  of  like  the  glare  of  the  sun  when  you  have  a  bad  hangover.   impossible  to  ignore.   he  would  do  and  say  anything  to  keep  her  happy.  so  long  as  it  meant  she  was  out  of  his  way  for  even  a  minute.   “  if  this  is  you  normally,   i  don’t  wanna  know  what  a  sugar  high  would  do  to  you.  ”
