“ I understand that you have history with Artemis, and frankly I don’t care that you killed his group of friends or whatever he had hiding within his shed. The worry is more other modern vampires being upset about ruthless murder or something of the sort. “ Clearly she didn’t seem too worried or even bothered by the fact. If other vampires did care surely they’d chastise them more for the mass slaughter of humans bringing hunters back from their graves.

It wouldn’t kill him, but it would keep him locked to the general vicinity until she released the spell.

Painting the pentagram upon the grass with human blood she places a candle at each point, putting the skull she had taken in the center of it hoping that the vampire’s soul hadn’t been destroyed within the Underworld in who knows how long it had been down there. Speaking the words she uses the cane’s power to draw a connection with the elder vampire’s soul that had once resided within Duke’s dominion and pulls it to the mortal world.
