About that 'People not taking vm serious' I always thought that having a big amount of supporters can save u it's just like bts they have many fans who support them that's why they are getting so much love,respect and recognition if vm are in love then having a big fandom of vminers who take them serious can support them if they want to come out one day coz vm will be sure that their supporters will protect and accept both of them as a couple even tho it's Korea and I have no hope for them 🤦‍♀️
I mean sure, but majority of fans will probably never be supporters no matter how big a ship becomes. No matter how much people believe in it there will be more antis, homophobes and just regular fans not bothered with ships in general. Having a big fanbase as support also depends on how they support the ship and how other fans view these supporters. If the supporters are labeled as toxic I don’t think it is enough to warrant a coming out based on getting support. Because the main part of the fandom is not only not supportive, but even against the supporters of the ship. That’s why I am glad that for now Vminies at least have a pretty good image and that most of the fandom do love Vmin’s bond no matter if they ship it or not.
If a ship is real (any ship including hetero ones as well) I think the support they recieve should be something the fans would give no matter what couple it is about, but sadly that’s just not how the fandom looks like. That being said if a ship is real and decides to come out of course having support will be important, and I am sure many general fans as well would support them.
I think either way a coming out is very unlikely the way things look at the moment. Both with BTS’s success being at risk and how the world and Korea view LGBT people.
