Myasishchev VM-T/3M-T Atlant
Two Myasishchev M-4 bombers were converted for use in hauling rockets and other out-sized freight for the Soviet space program. First flown in 1982, the VM-T/3M-T primarily shipped components for the Energiya rocket, as well as ferrying the Soviet space shuttle Buran on several occasions. The aircraft were replaced with the Antonov An-225 Mriya in 1989 and retired.
