KZSU Interviewed Dr. Kieran Harty, Tintri Founder Dr. Kieran Harty talked to KZSU about Tintri's business model for producing VM-Aware storage (VAS) and managing cloud environments. Dr. Harty also talked about how Tintri's products help businesses use public and private cloud storage. Tintri's customers can manage up to 160,000 VMWare machines and 10 PB of data in minutes. Tintri was named Visionary by the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Solid-State Arrays, Dr. Harty who received his Ph.D. in EE from Stanford had advice for students who want to start their own companies and he also said that Tintri has a summer internship program that helps students develop in many different fields.
